Information Security Lead - Home working

Their continued investment includes ongoing technology projects and initiatives that involve the upgrade, enhancement and implementation of key systems across various business functions.

With such investment comes the increased need for increased IT / Information security and thus, we have an excellent career opportunity for an established IT security manager.

Offering flexible / home base working, this role will work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure compliance with accreditations such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials and the necessary Data and GDPR commitments.

The successful candidate role will play a crucial role in providing and developing support, education, training and building risk awareness across the business.

Key duties include:

·Review, implementation and education of key information and IT security policies

·Managing and conducting internal audits, undertaking remedial actions where necessary

·Close working with IT teams to ensure planning and execution of security testing is effective

·Ensuring the effective training on information/cyber security and data protection

·Responsibility for managing the agenda, actions and chairing the Information Security Group

·Reporting for key stakeholders

·Proven experience of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance is desirable
