Techniche are working with an Aberdeen based Oil and Gas company who specialise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). This role supports their RAIS (Rope Access and Inspection Services) business unit who use Radiography techniques to inspect the integrity and structure of a material.
 
They are open to candidates from other industries as well as Inspectors and materials specialists with an interest in Industrial Radiography. The role is paying up to £41,600 plus excellent benefits.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all aspects of the Radiographic activities, ensuring the safe and effective completion of work on time and to agreed quality standards.
  • Reporting of Radiographic issues to the Manager on a regular and as required basis
  • Responsible for ensuring all Controlled Area’s on site/base comply to the Local Rules and IRR regulations.
  • Responsible for making sure all Radiographic equipment is kept in good working order and signed for per shift.
  • Working to all RAD specific procedures
 
An IR Medical or PCN qualification is preferred.
