IFA Administrator

Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well established and highly reputed Independent Financial Advisers that specialise in providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to HNW individuals. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dedicated and talented individual with previous experience within an IFA environment to join their administration team.

As an IFA Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) in delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for assisting with the administrative tasks associated with client management, investment processing, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to IFAs, including preparing client correspondence, processing client applications, and managing client documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of client reviews, preparing illustrations and valuations, obtaining quotes, and processing new business.
  • Liaise with clients, product providers, and other relevant parties to facilitate the smooth processing of transactions and requests.
  • Maintain accurate client records and databases in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with compliance tasks, including KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.
  • Handle general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing email correspondence.

The candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role within the financial services sector, preferably within an Independent Financial Advisory firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Intelligent Office (preferred) and Wrap platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
