Human Resources Manager

We are recruiting an ambitious and driven Human Resources Manager for a fantastic four star hotel based in Limerick, Ireland.

Salary - €40,000 - €45,000
Four day working week.

As the HR Manager, you will offer comprehensive support and guidance to the team across all facets of HR operations, ensuring efficient management and growth of our personnel. Your responsibilities entail aiding in the creation and implementation of HR initiatives, strategies, and actions aimed at enhancing organisational capacity and performance.

The Role

  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, on-boarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
  • Lead hotel engagement strategies.
  • Oversee employee on-boarding, ensuring that new employees receive proper training and orientation.
  • Proactive management of IR and ER issues.
  • Ensure that standards of employee compliance are maintained, with correct documentation and HR records.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Supervise budgets for payroll and hotel processing, through attendance/time systems.
  • Reporting to the Hotel General Manager.


About You

  • 3rd level qualification in Human Resources Management, Business or similar. CIPD qualification is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years in a HR management role - Hotel or customer focused environment.
  • Experience in cost and payroll maintenance.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships across all areas of the hotel.
  • Previous experience in employee engagement driving.
