An opportunity has arisen to work for a well-established and expanding organisation as an HR Manager. This role reports through to the team of Directors and is an opportunity for the right candidate to support growth plans and lead an existing team. 

Working on site 5 days a week, this role is responsible for leading the HR function and health and safety aspects operationally across the organisation.  

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop the people lifecycle including onboarding, performance and development, annual reviews, and training.
  • Ensure documentation compliance and best practice including casework, handbooks, contracts, IR35 compliance and recruitment right to work checks.
  • Continued development of HRIS system across the business to incorporate analysis for the team of Directors.
  • Ensure that all health and safety aspects are adhered to, and that documentary compliance is sound.
  • Review staff rewards and wellbeing schemes and enhance these for stakeholder benefit.

Essential Skills and Experience

You will ideally be an HR Manager with at least 5 years experience, a team player, commercially aware with a good understanding of operational HR and health and safety and its importance to the business.  This role is working on site 5 days per week 8.30am to 5.30pm, for that added presence with a competitive benefits package to match.

CIPD (level 5 or 7) or an equivalent professional qualification in HR is essential, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
