HR Manager
Annual Salary: Up to £40,000

We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to join our vibrant educational institution. This role is integral to our commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment for our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all human resources operations and ensuring they are aligned with our school’s strategic goals.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy of the school.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to staff hiring.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program, assessing the competitiveness of current offerings.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, staying up-to-date with changes in employment legislation.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
  • Nurture a positive working environment by organising team-building activities and staff events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.

People-oriented and results-driven.

Knowledge of HR systems and databases.

Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.

Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.

CIPD Level 5
