 HR Business Partner 

£40,000-£45,000pa

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner with a passion for the education sector?

Reed HR is looking for a HR Business Partner to join a very experienced and very passionate HR team who provide strategic and operational support to the organisation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR solutions that align with the business objectives and the education sector’s standards and regulations. You will also act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders and managers on all people-related matters, such as organisational development, performance management, employee relations, talent management, and learning and development.

Some of the possible responsibilities and duties for a HR Business Partner are:

  • Partnering with senior leaders and managers to understand their business goals and challenges and provide strategic and operational HR support and solutions
  • Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with the organisation’s vision, values, and culture and comply with the relevant legislation and regulations
  • Advising and coaching managers on people-related matters, such as organisational design, change management, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, talent management, and learning and development
  • Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, such as grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, and TUPE transfers
  • Leading and supporting HR projects and initiatives, such as employee surveys, reward and recognition schemes, diversity and inclusion programmes, and wellbeing initiatives

To be successful in this HR Business Partner role, you will need:

  • A CIPD 5 qualification or equivalent experience in HR or above
  • A proven track record of delivering HR business partnering in the education sector or a similar complex environment
  • A strong knowledge of the education sector’s policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused approach
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
