We have recently registered an exciting opportunity for an exceptional experienced HR Advisor/ HR generalist to join our clients’ small HR Team. Our client is a unique not-for-profit organisation in the education sector, and they are on a growth journey that they would love you to be a part of! HR Advisor Responsibilities

This is a diverse position that will include responsibility for:

-          Responding to general HR queries

-          Maintaining personnel records and developing company policies and procedures

-          Dealing with employee relations cases and guiding and coaching academic staff on best practice

-          Managing HR team inbox

-          Assisting with payroll process

-          Varied administrative duties

HR Advisor Experience Essentials

To be successful in this role you will have proven exposure in a similar generalist HR capacity at advisor level and be comfortable with dealing with general HR administration duties as well as HR advisory level activities. You will thrive under a large and varied workload, and will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple schools. You will be a self-starter, with a completer/finisher attitude and will be confident in supporting SLT in the HR manager’s absence. You will be able to multi-task and prioritise your workload, being organised and able to transition from one task to the next as required, in a changing and fast-paced environment. You will be CIPD qualified (or equivalent) or working towards this. Experience within a primary education setting within an HR function is desirable in order to have previous knowledge of safeguarding and safer recruitment but not essential. It is essntial however, that you have in-depth hands-on experience covering all areas of HR with at least 3 years experience at advisor level and you must have solid UK employment law knowledge. 

HR Advisor Location

This HR Advisor role is office-based and our client is located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Please ensure you live within a commutable distance. The role will involve a minimum of 4 days a week in the office or at a school site. There is a possibility of working 1 day a week from home but this is dependent on workload and business requirements. 

This is a full-time, all year round, permanent opportunity. You must have the full right to work in the UK. 

You will need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle to apply for this role as occasional travel between school sites will be required.
