HR Advisor

Up to £35,000 DOE

Near Tonbridge (must drive due to rural location)

35 hours per week

Up to 12 month Fixed Term Contract

My client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a HR advisor to join their team on a fixed term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience with strong people management skills and experience of managing projects.

Duties include:

• Supporting the HR team with strategic and operational goals.
• Supporting department managers, providing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance people management capabilities.
• Managing projects within the business such as reviewing current processes and systems.
• Implementing new processes and systems.
• Responsible for grievance and disciplinary procedures.
• General day to day duties such as recruitment, updating job descriptions and onboarding.

To be considered for this role, you must have/be:

• Previous HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
• Good experience in project work and able to implement new processes into the business.
• Exposure to the full employee life cycle to include ER.
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation.
• Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• A CIPD qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
• Good IT skills.
• Ideally immediately available or have a short notice period.
