We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and provide high-quality HR services to a diverse range of clients. The successful candidate will be a confident HR generalist, capable of managing multiple client accounts and advising on day-to-day HR queries. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy office environment and demonstrates excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Manage administrative tasks to deliver on client expectations and provide a high-quality HR service.
  • Set performance objectives for the admin team, review them periodically, and nurture talent.
  • Handle day-to-day operational HR processes, including absence management, performance management, and discipline with the support of the Business Partner (BP).
  • Recruit new team members as required and conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy across the admin team.
  • Provide compliant and focused advice to clients, manage HR processes, and maintain accurate internal records within HR systems.
  • Stay updated with changes in employment law and best practice through personal development.
  • Be involved in on-site client meetings/events, networking events, and seminars on behalf of the company.
  • Manage new client onboarding processes, including conducting HR audits and setting up HR systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role, with at least 2 years of experience in human resources.
  • Qualified to CIPD Level 5.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Office applications.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills within their remit.
  • Must be able to reliably commute Darlington, before starting work.
