Do you have a background in gardening? Are you looking for your next permanant role in Horticultural work? Do you have a wealth of expereince within Horticultural and want to share your skills working for a Local Council?

Your main responsibilities will be working as part of a team managing and maintaining the green and open spaces of Gravesham. As a driver, you will be delivering and collecting equipment including a large ride along lawn mower to locations across the Gravesham area, you will be tending to trees, bushes and grasses and playing a vital role in keeping Kent Green.

You will be working as a team making sure that the work is of a high standard. You will need to be competent in using hand tools, machinery and occasional plant equipment if appropriate and be prepared to work in all weathers.

Main Duties

  • You will be responsible for the unloading and loading of all equipment.
  • You will also require good communication and customer service skills, with an enthusiastic approach to all tasks.
  • Experience with strimmer's - hedge cutters - blowers and lawn mowers
  • You will be assisting with maintaining hedges lawns and flower beds.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday 07.30am - 4.30pm

The Ideal Driver

  • You will hold a (B1) and the ability to pull a trailer (B+E) - Desirable but not essential
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous Towing experience (Essential)
  • Experience in Horticultural
