Venn Group would like to introduce the following position of ‘Support Worker’ for a Housing Association in Warrington.

Position:         Support Worker

Location:        Warrington

Salary:            £25,125.05 - Per Annuum

Length:           Permanent 

Hours:             37.5 hours p/week – Rolling Shift Pattern 4 days on, 4 days off 

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Working in a 26 bed homeless hostel with residents that have complex issues, such as alcohol, drugs and mental health issues.
  •  Devising  and delivering group and individual programmes of meaningful activity that assist service users on their journey towards sustainable outcomes
  • Promoting strong engagement with service users, through project activity planning, good communication and the use of an asset-based approach
  • Developing , strengthening  and promoting  relationships with partner agencies, encouraging service users to link in with other services
  • Ensuring service users live safely in the project and understand and comply with rules relating to the project. To offer advice and assistance to enable them to do so in a friendly, supportive manner

To be considered for this role you will need to have worked in a similar role working with mental health patients previously, be available to start at short notice and have an enhanced DBS.
