Job Requirements of this Home Tutor job in Lichfield

• Dedication and qualification as a teacher with a passion for facilitating student success.
• Expertise in KS3 and KS4 curriculum, particularly in Maths and English, with the ability to teach additional subjects.
• Ability to provide exceptional one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to the individual learning needs of each student.

Qualifications or Certificates:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Previous experience as a Home Tutor an advantage, preferably at the GCSE level.

Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise in Maths and English, with a strong foundation in other subjects being advantageous.
• Proven ability to develop customised lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with national curriculum standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective communication with students and parents/guardians.

Brief Overview of the Role:

 As a Home Tutor specialising in KS3 and KS4, you will deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in the comfort of their own homes.

 Responsibilities include developing customised lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining open communication with parents/guardians.

This role offers flexibility in working hours, accommodating both full-time and part-time schedules.

The length of bookings may vary based on student needs, with 1 to 2 hours of planning time allocated per student, depending on the length of tutoring sessions.
