Higher Level SEN TA

TimePlan Education are recruiting a Higher Level SEN Teaching Assistant to deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups. You will be working with different class Teachers and children and you will be delivering lessons that have been planned by the class teacher. This is a full-time role and you will have the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms.

The school is a Primary SEN school in Ealing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop in their role very quickly and they will receive continues training.

Job Responsibilities

  • Comfortable leading activities and supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties.
  • Ability to engage and support pupils across different year groups.
  • Assist with personal care if needed.
  • Supervising pupils' behaviour.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
  • Minimum of level 5 qualification.
  • Calm and empathetic.
  • Good behaviour management.
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
