We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver Class 2 to join our logistics team. This role is essential for our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Safely operate a heavy goods vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations related to HGV operation.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly before transit.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and journey logs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to ensure efficient route planning.
  • Provide excellent customer service during pick-up and delivery of goods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
  • Proven experience as an HGV Driver.
  • Good knowledge of UK roads and traffic regulations.
  • Strong time management and punctuality.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy items.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Good communication skills.
