Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of school . The successful candidate will have a strong background in special education, hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and possess previous leadership experience.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of school , you will:
- Provide Vision and Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear vision for the school, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
- Promote Inclusion: Champion an inclusive ethos that celebrates diversity and supports students with a range of special educational needs.
- Lead Staff Development: Foster professional growth among teaching and support staff, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage Resources: Oversee budgeting, staffing, and facilities to ensure optimal learning conditions.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with parents, local authorities, and external agencies to enhance student outcomes.
- Monitor Student Progress: Implement effective assessment strategies and track student progress.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Special Education Expertise: Familiarity with SEN provision and best practices.
- Visionary Approach: A forward-thinking mindset to drive positive change.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
