Interim Head of Repairs needed in East London

The rate is £43.75ph PAYE

This is a temporary role

The successful candidate will be working to the Director of Housing Assets. They will support the review of a new repairs organisational structure and operating model, provide effective leadership to the Repairs Service with a headcount of c. 30 staff and ensure that the procurement, quality and performance of contractors is at the highest standard for our residents.

They will meaningfully engage with residents to improve services, reduce costs and develop neighbourhoods where people enjoy and want to live, create a culture of performance and budget management where there is a direct link between costs, excellent services and right first-time repairs and will drive down the costs and increase satisfaction in the services provided.

Lead on the streamlining of business processes and systems across the repairs service, including digital to drive efficiencies in service delivery to residents and participate and report on the out of hours service for repairs.
