HEAD OF QUALITY CONTOL | FASHION & HOME RETAILER | CIRCA £50,000

As the Head of Quality Control you will be well established within the retail and manufacturing space to confidently & strategically review quality control, inspection, returns and sizing. You will work collaboratively with the product, tech, ethical and sourcing teams to drive new strategies to monitor and control the sealing process, supplier communication and overall testing.

Head of Quality Control:

  • Develop a supply base that is capable of supporting the fit, quality and sustainability ambitions for the brand
  • Nurture and grow supplier relationships so that suppliers and the brand are working in tandem with clarity and visibility into: lead times, deliveries, testing, inspection, workbooks, sealing & fit processes and much more
  • Work to set strict and measurable parameters to reduce the overall returns rate for the business
  • Work to develop and roll-out branding requirements across labelling with suppliers
  • Roll out clear standards with suppliers on ways of working
  • Set clear boundaries around, RTV's, cancellations, CPR's and re-work costings/timeframes with the the supply base
  • Oversee and work closely to your buying teams around you & your teams direct impact to the critical path
  • Support, train and develop your team members
  • Review performance and morale across your department at all times
