Paying up to £70k, our client is recruiting for a Head of People on a permanent basis. The role is an opportunity to develop further an already outstanding function, alongside guiding a commercial board with decisions to keep this award-winning business ahead of competitors.

The Role

A pivotal member of the business, this role is for someone with an interest in a long-term career and someone who is looking to make the step into their first head of people position.

Key accountabilities:

  • To provide a full HR support function whilst supporting the business leaders in achieving its goals of developing employees, at all levels in order to provide the best possible service.
  • Line management of a team.
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures are in place to meet legal and regulatory requirements, reducing risk to the business.
  • To continuously review and improve processes, procedures and initiatives in line with HR best practice regardless of industry in order that we can attract and retain the best possible talent in a competitive market.

The Person

This will suit someone who has some previous experience working within a senior business partnering position and someone who is ambitious, driven and looking for a challenge. The person needs to be highly organised with a commercial approach and someone with excellent communication skills.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified. You will be dynamic and motivated and be open to change due to the fast-paced and constantly evolving environment within this organisation.
