Head of Group Accounting
IN2 Consult is partnering with a well known, highly acquisitive international bluechip on the recruitment of a head of group financial accounting to join their growing finance function. The role gives candidates the opportunity to see a group accounting function of a multi-billion dollar revenue organisation whilst driving change and process improvements.
This role is well suited to candidates from an audit background with significant post-practice industry experience in a complex group accounting role or a first time audit mover at senior manager level or above.
Job Duties:- Lead the group financial accounting function
- Manage complex group consolidations
- Oversee the team responsible for internal reporting and statutory accounting
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiencies
- Overseeing group internal controls implementations
- Partnering with key stakeholders
- Ad-Hoc Duties
- ACA or ICAEW qualification
- Top 10 audit background
- Experience in complex group consolidations/ group accounting environments
- Advanced experience of complex IFRS or other reporting standards
- Strong knowledge of audit and statutory accounting
- Expertise in IFRS
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ACA or equivalent
