Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Hours: Full-time, hours between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a rewarding role in a nurturing environment? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Assistants to join independent nursery settings across Harrogate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the nursery team in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with nursery policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a nursery setting is preferred.
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
