Role:

The role of the Hard FM works with the regional operations management team to deliver a seamless maintenance programme (Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive), effectively managing priorities and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Accountable for ensuring all work undertaken by internal and external resources is evaluated, assessed, and meets statutory regulatory compliance and legal responsibilities of the business. 
• Resolving technical or service problems as they arise, either directly or by assembling teams to solve those issues, agreeing escalation, communication, and closure of issues with appropriate management colleagues.  The role may be required to take a regional lead where applicable on hard FM disciplines and act as the local subject matter expert working with the central Hard FM Specialists. 
• Ensure that operational standards are maintained at all times and manage the distribution of works to ensure priority of statutory compliance and maintenance of services in critical environments. Maximising team resources and productivity at every opportunity which may would involve the planning and organisation of complex activities.
• Implement new standards and lead change to manage continual improvement
• Ensure compliance in accordance with all NHSPS Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, relevant NHSPS Technical Guidance, Process and Procedures, Statutory Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and any applicable aspects of HTMs
