Handyman/Gardener - Kensington
We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Gardener for our Client based in Kensington. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance skills, have a flexible and switched on work ethic, dedicated to maintaining the property and exterior to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Garden Maintenance:
- Perform seasonal planting and ensure the front and back garden areas are always immaculate.
- Undertake hedge trimming, deadheading of flowers, leaf blowing, and jet washing.
- Maintain the cleanliness of iron fencing and perimeter walls.
- Keep gulleys and drains unobstructed.
- Perform external property cleaning tasks.
Internal Maintenance:
- Undertake general Handyman tasks with precision.
- Supervise and assist external Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Contractors.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues with agility.
- Change light bulbs and undertake painting and decorating tasks, particularly in the absence of the family.
- Demonstrate proficiency in simple carpentry and electrical work.
- Ensure roof drains are clear of debris.
- Fulfil ad hoc tasks assigned by the family and management team.
- Assist in high-level cleaning tasks.
- Provide support with pet care.
- Organisation and cleanliness of plant rooms and a garage.
Requirements:
- Possession of a clean, valid driving license.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- UK or EU passport, with flexibility for occasional travel.
Salary: Up to £42,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
Working Hours: 0800 - 1700
Days: 5 days per week
