  • Guidewire QA Engineer with GT-framework, In-sprint automation, Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) & Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements.
  • Implement GT-framework for Guidewire projects to ensure efficient testing processes.
  • Utilize In-sprint automation techniques to enhance the testing cycle and reduce manual efforts.
  • Collaborate with developers to incorporate Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices into the testing process.
  • Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) initiatives within the QA team to promote early defect detection.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and sprint reviews to provide QA insights and ensure test coverage.
  • Execute test cases, report defects, and track their resolution throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Perform regression testing and ensure the stability of the application across releases.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Guidewire testing methodologies.
  • Lead and coach a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support throughout projects.
  • Contribute to Java development tasks as necessary to support testing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4- 6 years of relevant experience working with Guidewire QA Engineer with a focus on Guidewire testing.
  • Strong understanding of GT-framework and its application in Guidewire testing.
  • Proficiency in in-sprint automation techniques.
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter and insurance domain concepts is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of Java programming language.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
