Group Management Accountant

Location: South Manchester

Salary: circa £50,000- £60,000

I am currently looking for a Group Management Accountant to join a strong finance team, for a leading wholesale company in South Manchester. As senior Group Management Accountant you will be involved in both month end activities but also providing commercial support to the wider business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Day to day financial responsibility for several UK and Global business entities and subsidiaries
  • Completion and assistance of both the month end and year end process, including production of monthly reports and the annual audit process for the Group business entities
  • Monthly preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc analysis to aid and improve the decision-making process
  • Provide commercial business partnering support to each of the various trading entities and divisions
  • Administration of corporate filing returns including VAT, Duty, PAYE, Corporation Tax, Companies House Filing, and maintenance
  • Assist with the collation and development of annual budgeting process
  • Support with the Monthly Board Pack reporting & improvements
  • Cash flow forecasting and reporting

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Demonstrate experience in a similar role
  • Confident with budgeting processes and forecasting
  • Strong Excel/ IT skills
  • A team player with effective communication and business partnering skills
