IPS Group have been instructed by a thriving investment backed Lloyd's Insurance business to support in the hiring of a Group Financial Controller to operate as No2 to the Group CFO looking to continue its UK and International growth journey over next three years. This would be a fantastic move for an experienced Financial Controller to join an organisation geared for its next phase of growth, to mentor and lead a small team of FTEs and to assume the ownership and responsibility for the day to day actitivies of the Finance dpartment whilst being actively involved in the M&A process.

Main Responsibilities:
- Group Statutory Reporting and Consolidation in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS102.
- Production of monthly Group MI pack and present a Consolidated Group Ledger pack.
- Preparation of monthly Cashflow Forecasts - analysing movements in net working capital and cashflow conversion as a % of EBITDA.
- Leading annual tax computations supporting external partners.
- Managing year-end Audits in various countries with differing responsibilities.
- Allocating costs to various legal entities (Transfer Pricing).
- Oversight of Cash Management capabilities and dealing with FX.
- Implement Finance Change programmes where control and process improvements are possible.
- Mentor and Supervise a Finance team of 4 FTEs.

About You:
- Qualified Accountant
- Minimum 10 years' of experience in an Insurance environment - either Broking, MGA or Carrier is preferred.
- Prior experience of a Financial Controllership position.
- Proven track record of leading a Finance team.
- Experience of a PE/VC investment-backed environment would be advantageous.
