Altum consulting are delighted to be partnering with a global media organisation in their search for a Group Financial Controller on a fixed term basis. This person will help lead and develop a world-class finance function and help facilitate the organisations continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production and accuracy of financial reporting, ensuring efficient month-end processes.
  • Ensure there are solid financial processes and controls at each group company.
  • Liaising as required with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including the C-suite, external auditors, regulators, and consultants.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of IFRS within the team and owning group and subsidiary accounting policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
  • 4+ years PQE.
  • Multi-currency consolidation experience.
  • Media industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to start at short notice.
