Role: Group Demand Planner (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum + Bonus & Excellent Benefits Package
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
Location: Marden, Kent

Our client, a global distributor, is currently seeking a Group Demand Planner to join their Supply Chain Team based in Marden, Kent on a permanent contract.

As this is a newly created position, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop the role over time. The ideal candidate will have a strong growth mindset and a can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and develop with the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and sustain availability within agreed KPIs to support customer sales in group Subsidiaries.
- Continually improve communication between subsidiaries and the Supply Chain team to ensure market requirements are managed, and disseminated and achievements or budget constraints are fed back to Managing Directors.
- Manage all relevant policies, forecasts, and parameters within the inventory management systems to meet demand and sales targets.
- Manage and develop the range and stock profile of the Subsidiaries, in line with agreed stock turn KPIs.
- Actively seek to understand all aspects of the supply chain and ordering process to continually improve and develop efficient processes for subsidiaries and support with master data issues preventing orders.
- Identify variances, and trends and communicate root cause analysis and resolution for consideration by the Supply Chain Department and the subsidiaries.
- Ensure understanding of ordering and inventory decisions at all levels within the company's group subsidiaries and procurement plants through key reports and updates at all levels of the organisation.
- Work with all necessary departments within the procurement plants to manage and develop the supply chain for the company's group subsidiaries.
- To support the Subsidiaries with any direct vendor relationships.
- Support the business in the effective achievement of departmental and company targets and objectives.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a demand planning position
- Confidence to communicate and deal with all levels within the business.
- Have experience in analysing trends within a supply chain and proposing suggestions for improvement
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to work to tight deadlines
- Analytical skills and Microsoft Excel experience to an advanced level
