Our established lighting retailer and manufacturer based in Manchester are looking for a graduate Marketing Exec to join them.

This vacancy is based in Manchester paying a starting salary of £24,000 p.a

About the role
The marketing exec role plays a pivotal role within the marketing team.
No two days are the same and we are looking for someone adaptable who will thrive in a busy environment.
Duties will vary from website amends to writing copy to updating our Social media. You will assist the Marketing Manager in developing and delivering the marketing strategy and work with sales teams to develop compelling campaigns.

You will work within the busy Marketing Department at our Head Office in Manchester.

The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the business, helping to deliver marketing campaigns, comms, photographic campaigns, and other activity for a variety of the brand’s products and customers.

Main responsibilities

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and delivering the marketing strategy
  • Briefing and supporting on multichannel campaigns throughout all areas of the business and being the dialogue between departments
  • Assistance with brand marketing projects in line with key dates and objectives
  • Support and knowledge across the wider marketing mix, where required: social, email, outreach, PR, collaborations and creative
  • Identifying and writing engaging digital content, including blogs and optimised website copy
  • Regularly reviewing content to ensure it aligns with current digital marketing strategies and brand awareness
  • Managing and updating information, copywriting, and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to increase brand awareness
  • Editing in-house and existing company content to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Working with sales teams to develop compelling campaigns
  • Keep up to date with the latest marketing trends.


The list of duties is not exhaustive, and you may be asked to undertake other duties. However, full training and support will be provided.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Has a strong work ethic
  • Takes pride in their work and great attention to detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of all marketing channels and the marketing mix
  • Has some digital experience

The details

  • This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
  • Working hours will be 40 hours per week.
  • Hours are typically worked between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may occasionally need to attend events outside of these days/times.
  • Our office is located in Manchester.
  • Starting salary £24,000 per year.
