Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant role description

• Mainstream Primary School – Graded GOOD and ever improving
• Large primary school - 3 Form entry - 81 places in Reception
• Reception Class Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant roles over 3 class groups
• Specialist SEN Provision for ASD on site
• Full Time Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant Roles
• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.45pm
• Earn £90 to £105 per day, £500 to £525 per week plus additional benefits
• Dagenham Docks – just a 6 minutes’ walk from the station
• Good graded and well provisioned EYFS setting

This exciting and progressive mainstream primary school has just received allocated additional funds for Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant across the 3 Reception classrooms.

The school needs 5x Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant who are dedicated and committed individuals who will strive to build lasting relationships with young learners. This lovely school and safe EYFS provision is an inclusive and welcoming setting for all young learners. The school has an attached specialist SEN unit and therefore a higher-than-average number of parents want their little ones who have/may have extra needs to attend this school.

Therefore, the school has received a bumper intake of SEN learners into Reception class. The school needs 5 x Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant who are coming to this school with their eyes wide open. There are a number of learners who are yet to be awarded full funding to support additional needs.

The needs of the learners in this new intake vary from behaviour, speech and language, mobility, ASD, personal care, and more. The experience of working on this school as Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistantwill be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate/s.
