About the company
Founded over 60 years ago, this building services and sustainability specific consultancy are now looking to grow their sustainability division with an individual who can work independently as well as alongside a small team. With over 40 people in the business and a strong reputation in the South of Wales area, this practice work on a good range of projects in sectors such as sport & leisure, commercial, residential, aviation, heritage and education.

They are using all the latest technologist which will be available to you as well as support and guidance towards chartership if needed. We are looking for a Graduate Building Physics Engineer ideally with some experience, someone who can hit the ground running but also happy to ask for support if required.

What will be required from the successful Building Physics Engineer?
  • A strong understanding of the Building Physics and Sustainability sector within Building Services
  • Outgoing, independent individual who is happy attending client and contractor meetings
  • The ability to be involved at all key stages of projects
  • Able to use thermal modelling software such as IES, TAS or DesignBuilder
  • The ability to provide low energy solutions and advice, ideally already a LCC or desire to become one.
  • A passion for sustainability within buildings
