Salary: £32k - £35k pro rata
Location: Near Uxbridge, UK
Duration: 6-month contract
About the Role: Join a dynamic team as a Goods in Inspector near Uxbridge, near London. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the quality of incoming mechanical components and managing gauge calibration activities.

Hours / Location:
This role is based near Uxbridge, 7am - 5pm Monday to Thursday (Fridays off). Must be able to commute to site via local public transport or own transport.

Goods In Inspector Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections on incoming mechanical components using standard equipment.
• Manage gauge calibration processes, including external and in-house calibration.
• Provide specialized inspection services for specific customer needs.
• Liaise with Purchasing and suppliers to resolve component issues.
• Offer technical advice and problem-solving support to the shop floor.
• Assist in various quality assurance functions as needed.

Goods In Inspector Requirements:

• 3+ years of goods inward/mechanical inspection experience.
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Strong educational background, preferably with A-level qualifications.
• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship completion is desirable.
• Familiarity with mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
