Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Goods In / Goods Out Operative with FLT Reach License (or experience) for a manufacturing business based in Rotherham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established manufacturer in the Rotherham area.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm 

Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £13.46 per hour (£26,000-£28,000 dependent on experience)

I am keen to speak to operatives skilled in the following areas:

  • Receive all items that come into the business daily, ensuring that items received are counted, checked for damages or discrepancies, and recorded against the supplier’s delivery note for accuracy.
  • Ensure that all items are appropriately packaged and labelled before storage.
  • Manage the storage of inventory and consumable items to ensure that they are stored in the correct location.
  • Allocate all available inventory items to customer orders.
  • Pick products against order demand, ensuring that the correct item, quantity, and serial or lot number is picked as per the information detailed on the picking ticket or hand held scanner
  • Pack the item/s in suitable packaging material dependent on the item and/or quantity.
  • Prepare packaging for shipment using the preferred courier’s software, ensuring that shipping labels are accurate and correct.
  • Being proactively involved in daily/weekly/monthly and annual stock takes as required by the business.
