About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Portfolio Growth I&A Director to join our Consumer, Business, Insights and Analytics (CBIA) team,reporting directly into our Global Head of CBIA. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the thinking of our leaders across Haleon, from the Chief Marketing Officer to the Category Heads and BU Marketing Leaders. They will work closely with the Head of CBIA and the Chief Marketing Officer, who informed by the portfolio insights and analytics provided will, with the support of the Haleon Executive Team, make decisions on where the Enterprise should focusfor growth – both organic and inorganic. 

The Global Portfolio Directorwill leveragea rich understanding of our business (our categories and brands) and our capabilities/right to win, as well as the external landscape – the market, dynamics, trends, competitors.  The rolerequires a deep understanding of consumersacross the globe – attitudes, habits and behaviours, and to be comfortable with bringing definition and direction on future where to play growth opportunities.   

The individual would benefit from having and understandingof the consumer health care market alongside a clear perspective on how to target and deliver incremental commercial growth. 

Key responsibilities  

  • Champion, educate and onboard teams toour new Demand Space framework, ensuring the knowledge/familiarity and capabilityrequired to deploy the demand spaces insights to drive evolved growth strategies and plans is in place, challenging prevailing logic as needed.   

  • Build strong partnerships with CBIA colleagues across Global and Business Unitmarketing to secure successful partnering and deployment.  

  • Work with external and internal partners to execute deep dives, plans to scale, and further phases of the current Demand Space worke.g. to support a BU acceleration plan. 

  • Identify and execute new cross brand/category and portfolio pieces of strategic understanding, beyond the current Demand Spaces once these are embedded, to ensure we remainfuture fit. 

  • Support the CMO and Global Marketing teams with strategic thinking, in identifying and setting clear priorities for where to play and how to win choices, providing a key input that shapes our Category Strategies as well as informing our portfolio and inorganic growth strategy.   

  • Serve as the main point of contact for Global and Business Units as they bring the Demand Spaces to life in their strategies/ market plans. Act as a holder of the truth and challenge these teams to think bigger/differently informed by the insight.
