We are actively searching for a dedicated and qualified Secondary Education German Teacher to join The Randstad Education team, contributing to the support of a school in the Preesall area. This school requires someone to start after April half term and to work up until summer with the likelihood of rolling over into September 2024. As a passionate educator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment for students, nurturing their growth in the German language, and instilling a love for learning.

This role necessitates an understanding of the German language and the ability to assist young students with their German speaking and writing.

Job Title: Secondary Education German Teacher

Pay Rate: £140.00 - £220.00 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in German language and literature to students at the secondary level.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student's language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with educational standards and learning objectives.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Incorporate technology into instruction to enhance student engagement and language proficiency.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary instruction and promote cross-curricular connections.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language teaching and educational trends.
  • Foster a passion for the German language and culture through extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, cultural events, and study abroad programs.
