Salary: £29,000 - £34,000.

An expanding Ground Investigation and Geo-environmental Consultancy based near Birmingham are seeking an experienced engineering geologist, geotechnical engineer or geo-environmental engineer to join the team. The role, based near Birmingham, will involve work on a variety of ground investigation projects across the Midlands, providing exciting, new and technically challenging opportunities to expand your skills.

This Geotechnical Engineer position will involve work on a range of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects with a team of specialists. You'll be working on site and in office, carrying out in-situ testing, supervising ground investigations, logging, writing factual and interpretive reports, groundwater and gas monitoring and liaising with clients and team members.

This Geotechnical Engineer position requires you to:

• Have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, or a related subject.
• Have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant.
• Have exceptional communication and time management skills.
• Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
• Be commutable to Birmingham/Midlands.
• Willing to travel to sites.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
