Geography Teacher 

Are you an experienced Geography Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity in a supportive and outstanding school environment? Our Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' girls school, located in Wolverhampton, is currently seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their experienced department. This part-time role consists of 3.5 days a week and is available for an immediate start until the end of the academic year.

Part-Time Geography Teacher (KS3-KS5)

Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Until end of academic year
Salary: £155 - £215

Role Overview:
As a Part-Time Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will have the opportunity to inspire a passion for Geography and support students in their academic journey. Knowledge of Key Stage 5 Geography is desirable but not essential. This role is vital in contributing to the continued success of our school and the achievement of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of students and facilitate their progress.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Geography department to share best practices and resources.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Knowledge of Key Stage 5 Geography is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
