Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Cover Teacher to work in numerous client schools in Gravesend. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to provide invaluable support to students, enabling both academic and personal growth, whilst being able to maintain a flexible schedule.

Role & Responsibilities - General Cover Teacher:

• Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom to work on an ad-hoc basis, allowing you to manage your schedule flexibly week-to-week
• Student Support: Be a pillar of support for students within schools, fostering a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Adaptability: Cover a range of subjects, following the plans and using the resources set by the class teacher.
• Behaviour Management: Uphold school behaviour policies, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere conducive to learning.

Requirements:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an alternative, equivalent qualification
• Own or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
