We are looking for a Gas Engineer to work on properties mainly based in Cambridge but a few in Hertfordshire.  This will be a permanent position working Monday to Friday hours 8.30am to 5pm with the occasional call-out.  You will be supplied with a van and be joining a great team. Part time hours for the position may be available if you are self employed but looking to fill regular hours and be permanently employed.

As the Gas Engineer you will be:
  • Installing, servicing, and repairing domestic gas appliances such as boilers, cookers and fires.
  • Conducting safety checks and inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting gas related issues and provide efficient and effective solutions.
  • Providing excellent customer service, including explaining procedures and recommendations to clients
  • Working independently and as part of a team with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Completing all paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

 As the Gas engineer you will have:
  • Gas Safe registration with relevant qualifications (e.g., ACS Gas Qualifications).
  • Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer, with a strong understanding of gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.
