Fund Accountant
Glasgow - Hybrid working
Salary up to £55,000 Neg D.O.E

Our client has an exciting project within the Fund Services department! They are a key player in the global financial services industry, providing top-notch solutions to clients worldwide. With a focus on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement, They are seeking motivated Fund accountants to join them in growth mode. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements under various accounting standards.
  • Assist in cash reconciliation and management for funds.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and enhance existing processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to group projects for system implementation and operational procedures.


Essential:

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP/UK GAAP/IFRS
  • Professional qualification in accountancy or studying towards one.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrable experience in fund accounting.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Motivated and eager to learn new applications and processes.



If you would advantageous, if you had any familiarity with various Private Capital fund structures, understanding of wider Private Capital industry standards and regulations, knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP requirements.
