Full Stack Developer - World Renowned Quantitative Trading Firm - Urgent Hire

Responsibilities:

Taking charge of developing and automating a diverse range of web-based systems utilizing React and a Python backend. Your coding expertise will yield user-friendly interfaces, enhance the quality of their web-based infrastructure, and impact business logic significantly in collaboration with various teams. This position places a significant emphasis on communication, understanding end-user requirements effectively and communicate proficiently. Collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues, to design and create full-stack applications, enhance existing infrastructure, and identify areas for enhancement.

• Creating web-based tools to provide insights and facilitate real-time actions utilizing financial data, operational data, trading activity.
• Improving their global web-based systems, with React and Python.
• Engaging closely with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders overseeing the full project lifecycle.
• Managing tasks with diverse time frames, from addressing immediate issues in existing processes to charting long-term strategic pathways.
• Improving existing internal and external infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in navigating large, interconnected projects with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with team members.
• Proficiency in analyzing code, understanding its workings, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts, such as software design or business logic, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
