Position: Frontend Tech Lead

Location: Trondheim, Norway

About Us:
Join a significant player in the IoT space, building products for Norway's aquaculture industry and more recently the HVAC space. With a completely new prodect line, there is plenty to do!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the frontend development team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality code and timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and backend development, to translate business requirements into user-friendly and scalable frontend solutions.
  • Architect and design robust, maintainable, and scalable frontend systems and components.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance our frontend development process.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the overall improvement of coding standards and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in frontend development, with expertise in React, Next.js, Typescript, MQTT and Microfrontends. A collaborative and hollistic mindset with a focus on quality software engineering.
  • A desire to put your own ideas forward and construcutively spar with colleagues.
  • Experience with IoT technologies or related fields is a plus.
