Pre-Sales Engineer - Cisco, CCNA, CCIE

Our client is seeking a CCNA certified Pre-sales Engineer with good knowledge of Cisco products and the ability to consult, influence and design solutions to meet our customer's business requirements.

Must be CCNA certified as a minimum, ideally CCIE.

As Cisco Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for showcasing Cisco product solutions, customer presentations, interactive sessions, running proof of concepts and capture complex solution requirements.

Other duties will include:

• Providing technical support to partners
• Assisting with tenders and proposals
• Working closely with the internal team to supply quotes
• Providing user end demonstration
• Keep up to date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services
• Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities
• Looking at competitor/vendors see what they offer

Skills and experience required:

• CCNA certified / CCIE highly desirable
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in the technology area of emphasis required.
• Good experience with routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM)
• Distribution/Partner experience background is preferred

This is a permanent position, based in Hampshire with travel 6-8 times per year and is paying a salary of up to £40,000.
