We have a fantastic opportunity for a Freelance Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join a prestigious Tier 1 main contractor. Our client is one of of the Uk's leading providers within the Oil & Gas industry and have leading schemes underway in the Midlands with plans for an additional further projects in the area.

You will be part of a team responsible for the Health, Safety & Environmental Management on site and representing the business to the client.

Utilising your previous experience as a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager you will be responsible for the managing of Health, Safety & Environmental advisers as well as site teams and management of subcontractors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Induction training for new employees, also subcontractors as well.
  • Conduct suitability checks for all plant, materials & equipment.
  • Perform risk assessments & method statements.
  • Manage accident investigations and reports.
  • Report directly into the Managing Director, Operations Director & Construction Director, Providing the necessary guidance, legislation's update and reports.
  • Create and promote campaign to encourage Health & Safety and promote awareness.
  • Consult with the local Health & Safety governance.

To be considered for this role you will needs to posses a relevant NEBOSH degree & CSCS card and essentially have previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
