FPGA Engineer - Cheltenham - £50k - £70k

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a well-established network applications company based in Cheltenham, who are now seeking an FPGA Engineer to join their team.

As a key member, you’ll play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of FPGA firmware projects. Collaborating closely with the product team lead, you’ll define project milestones and test plans, ensuring seamless delivery.

Leverage your wealth of experience to craft cutting-edge FPGA processing cores, optimising performance and functionality. Working alongside our talented team, you’ll oversee the deployment of firmware across the entire product spectrum, ensuring cohesion and efficiency.

Key skills required for this FPGA Engineer Job:

  • Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado and UltraScale(+) FPGA development
  • Proficient in C or C++ programming
  • Expertise in telecom processing, Ethernet, IP, and common layer 7 applications
  • Solid proficiency in VHDL
  • Extensive background in working within a Linux development environment
  • Proficient in Python programming
  • Experience collaborating on Agile-managed projects

The salary for this position of FPGA Engineer will be circa £50,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
