Forklift Driver

Our client based in Hoddesdon who is a major designer, manufacturer and global provider of cables and umbilicals for use in some of the planet’s most challenging and harsh environments.

They are looking for an experienced Forklift Drivers  to work at their Hoddesdon site to assist with all stores related tasks and ensure continuous supply of materials to the shop floor, maintaining traceability throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Physical issuing of required materials to Production.
• Ensure all goods received are checked upon arrival and physically labelled.
• Maintaining accurate Stock & WIP levels via accurate transactions.
• Assist with loading & unloading of vehicles in busy periods.
• Maintain tidiness and order of stores area.
• Cooperate with Production supervisors to discuss priorities and materials required for the coming shift.
• Assist with battening & packaging of drums to prepare for shipping during busy periods.
• Print and distribute pick lists daily, to allow issuing of materials as per weekly schedule.
• Data entry into computer system.
• Assist with stock adjustments when requested.
• Assist with weekly inventory cycle counts.
• Assist with monthly physical stock checks.
• Assist with material allocations when requested.

• Forklift experience min of 6 months Counterbalance & Reach
• All training will be provided.
• Min of 1 Year working in similar role preferred.
• Computer literate.
• No qualifications needed for the role.

· This is an ongoing temporary position.

Salary £ 13.00 per hour
Hours: 8 hours per day

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday hours 07.00am – 15.30pm

Tuesday & Thursday 07.00am – 17.30pm
Contract Type: Temporary to Perm.
