As a Foreman Joiner, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their joinery projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards, within budget and on schedule. You will lead by example, demonstrating advanced joinery skills while managing and mentoring a team of joiners and apprentices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage joinery projects from inception to completion, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of joiners and apprentices, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate with management and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies on site.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the company.

Requirements

  • Approximately 8-10 years of solid experience in joinery.
  • Possession of a valid driving licence.
  • An eagerness to learn and embrace personal and professional development.
  • An open, honest, and positive approach to work.
  • A proactive, 'can-do' attitude that turns challenges into opportunities.
  • Proven experience as a Joiner Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the joinery/carpentry industry.
  • Exceptional joinery skills with a portfolio of completed projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction/joinery industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in joinery or carpentry.

Package

  • Annual salary between £33,000 and £39,500
  • 28 Days a year Holidays
  • Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, and Uniform Supplied
  • Pension scheme
