Food Technology Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our educational team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for food science, nutrition, and culinary arts, who is eager to inspire and educate students in this exciting field.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Design and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that align with the curriculum.
  • Teach students about food safety, nutrition, food preparation techniques, and kitchen management.
  • Supervise practical cooking sessions and guide students in creating delicious and nutritious dishes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore their culinary interests.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize food-related events, workshops, and competitions.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and practical assessments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into your teaching.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Experience working in a professional kitchen or culinary setting is highly desirable.
  • A passion for food, creativity, and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
