Kingsley Consulting is hiring a Contracts Manager for a well run and profitable Roofing & Cladding Contractor. Our Client is a growing organisation with a strong pedigree in their sector. Role Overview:
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for a variety of Flat Roofing Projects throughout the UK. Key responsibilities to include; Site Set up, Labour Management, Procurement, Developing Client Relationships and Commercial Control of each Project
 
The ideal candidate will have previous Contracts Management experience delivering Flat Roofing projects for a SME/Large Contracting business.
 
Remuneration
Salary - circa £60,000 + Bonus, Company Car, Benefits & More
Location – UK Wide
 
Key Duties:
  • Manage all aspects of contracts management, including planning, execution, and completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the contract lifecycle. Address any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project implementation.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient execution of contracts. Monitor resource utilisation and adjust as necessary to meet project requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the contract lifecycle. Implement proactive measures to minimize disruptions and maximize project success.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Implement quality control measures to deliver high-quality roofing solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery of contracts. Collaborate with the finance department to review financial reports, analyse project profitability, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering contracts within the roofing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively.
  • Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Sound understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on driving performance and achieving results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Relevant industry certifications and qualifications.
