Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough surveys of fire doors in various commercial and residential buildings across London.
• Assess the condition of fire doors and identify any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
• Document survey findings accurately and comprehensively, including photographs and detailed reports.
• Provide expert recommendations for remedial actions to address any identified issues.
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with fire safety standards and regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to fire door safety.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fire Door Surveyor or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of fire door components, materials, and installation techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough surveys and inspections.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in using surveying tools and software for documentation and reporting.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire safety or building surveying would be advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations within London.
